(1) Account Creation

Before registering for a course one must first create a player account on the Downtown Sports website.

  • Families: to ensure proper communication and registration, each child must have his/her own account on our website. Parents should create an account for one child, and create a second account for a second child, etc.
  • Returning players: please sign in using the existing account for that player; do not create a new account.

Note: Registration for some programs (e.g. Open Court) do not require that the account's email address is confirmed.

(2) Course/Camp Registration

Once a player has a Downtown Sports website account, that player can register for an event by doing the following:

  1. Log in to your player's account.
  2. Find an event for which you would like to register.
  3. Click "Register" to start the registration process.
  4. If not paying online, send payment to:

Location: Downtown Sports Court Category: Volleyball

Grades 3-5 Beginner Volleyball Clinic

Day and Time: Wednesday - 4:00-5:00

Duration: 5 Weeks, 4/9,4/16,4/30,5/7,5/14 

Description: Join us for an introductory volleyball clinic for Grades 3-5 beginners. During the training, girls will discover the excitement of volleyball by learning proper techniques in a modified setting that will promote success.  

Priority will be given to Franklin residents.  

Other Information: Due to the number of players enrolled in the program, this is a drop-off/pick-up offering.

Grades 6-8 Level 3 Volleyball (Spring I)

Location: Downtown Sports Court Category: Volleyball

Grades 6-8 Level 3 Volleyball

Day and Time: Wednesday - 5:15-6:45

Duration: 5 weeks - 4/9, 4/16, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14

Description: Level 3 clinics are designed for players with demonstrated proficiency in Level 2 skills and game play. Players will continue to develop their skills while working on court coverage, basic position training, and more nuanced game play.

Priority will be given to Franklin residents.  

Other Information: Due to the amount of players enrolled in the program this is a drop-off/pick-up offering.

This is an invite-only class.

Duration: 4 weeks -  5/3, 5/10, 5/17

Description: Come learn the sport of volleyball!  Clinic sessions cover skills, drills and game play in a fun and enjoyable learning environment. Participants will learn the basics of serving, passing, setting, and hitting at grade appropriate levels.

Priority will be given to Franklin residents.  

Other Information: Due to the amount of players enrolled in the program this is a drop-off/pick-up offering.
